City turning blue on eve of big game

Operation Blue Suede Shoe lit almost 200 blue lights Friday evening, illuminating the grounds of Graceland on the Eve of the Big game between the Tigers and Vols.

"I want to introduce to you the number one Tiger Fan who came all the way from California. She'll be with us tomorrow when we beat the Vols...Priscilla Presley," Memphis Athletic Director RC Johnson said.

"This is so exciting. I can't believe it. This is more exciting than the SuperBowl. This is Memphis, Tennessee and it's putting us on the map," Presley said.

A softball team from Indiana was on Beale doing their rendition of a Rocky Top.

It's catchy. But not for Tiger fans.

"Number one versus number two. Memphis...Tennessee. From the same state its going to be amazing," one fan said.

"It's going to be a great game," said another.

"I think it brings a lot of enthusiasm to the  city of Memphis," another added.

For Memphis fans, it also brings the hope of a slam dunk with the crown of number one still on the Tiger's heads.
