Monday Morning Sports Headlines

NASHVILLE (AP) - Free agent tight end Alge Crumpler has agreed to terms with the Tennessee Titans. He was dropped by Atlanta last month after a so-so season in 2007 when he had 44 receptions.

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Carl Edwards is the hottest driver on the NASCAR circuit. He finished first in yesterday's Dodge 400 in Las Vegas, just days after winning the rain-delayed race from California last week.

UNDATED (AP) - The weekly Associated Press men's college basketball poll will be released later today. Last week's top team, Tennessee, split its two games this past week so there'll probably be a change at the top.

SINGAPORE (AP) - Lorena Ochoa (lohr-AY'-nah oh-CHOH-uh), the winner of eight events on the LPGA Tour last year, is off to a great start. In her first event of the new year, Ochoa won the HSBC Women's Champions event in Singapore by 11-strokes over Annika Sorenstam (AHN'-nih-kuh SOHR'-en-stam).

HOUSTON (AP) - Who needs Yao Ming? Playing once again without the injured big man, the Rockets posted their 15th straight win yesterday with a 103-89 win over Denver.
