SEC Post Season Awards Split Vote on Coach of Year

In a surprising move to me...the S.E.C. is selecting TWO coaches to share this years' Coach of the Year award..

I thought the guy who likes to wear the Orange Jacket had it all sewn up.

Tennessee's Bruce Pearl gets one half of the honor..

Pearl led the Vols to their first ever Number One ranking earlier this season..

UT is currently ranked Number 4.

The Volunteers also win their first S.E.C. Regular season title since the 19'60's.

Pearl shares the spotlight with First Year Kentucky Coach Billy Gillispie.

After getting off to a horrible start to the season, Gillispie's Wildcats have rallied to be one of the hottest teams in the nation with a 12 and 4 SEC mark.

The All-SEC First Team has 2-Vols, Chris Lofton and Tyler Smith...

Two Bulldogs, Charles Rhodes and Jamont Gordon..

One Razorback in former West Memphis star Sonny Weems.

The Rebels Dwayne Curtis and Ut's JaJuan Smith make second team...

Ole Miss' Chris Warren is on the All-Freshman Team.

And Vanderbilt's Shan Foster is the S.E.C. Player of the Year.

The Vols J.P. Prince is the S.E.C.'s 6th Man of the Year..

The former White Station High star earns the accolades despite sitting out the first half of the season after transferring from Arizona.
