The Tipton County Sheriff's Department arrested four men and a teenager Monday after investigators found several items taken from homes across the county.

Officials said two go-carts, a dirt bike, CD's, CD players, a stove, a washer, and a dryer were among the items recovered Deputies as part of the six-week county-wide investigation.

"As detectives started interviewing the first and second suspects, it led to the other three people being arrested," Chief Donna Turner of the Tipton County Sheriff's Department said.

Aaron Lewis, Eddie Thomas, Tommie Somerville Jr, and Jason Blank were all arrested and charged with theft.

Deputies said it was unusual to make so many arrests in a burglary case. They said these arrests were due to the quick action of a neighbor who saw something suspicious.

"A lot go unsolved because we don't have participation of the people. They just don't want to call and give us information. That wasn't the case in this situation," Captain Gerald Spencer of the Tipton County Sheriff's Department said.
