First Congress in Baseball/Now a Lawmaker Checking The Lady Vols Clock

The Tennessee Lady Vols are ready for another Run to the Women's NCAA Tournament title..

But, they just can't seem to get past the issue of a little Clock Problem against an Arch Rival.

New Jersey State Senator Robert Singer wants the NCAA to investigate the February 11th game that Tennessee won over Rutgers in Knoxville, 59-58.

He's drafting legislation for make the NCAA investigate why the Clock in Thompson-Boling Arena paused for more than a second before reaching Zero...allowing time for a foul to be called on Rutgers.

After watching video, officials ruled the foul came before the buzzer.

The Lady Vols hit 2-free throws to win the game.

Tennessee plays ORU Sunday in first round NCAA Tournament action.

Rutgers plays Saturday against Robert Morris.
