Fans flocking to travel agencies to get to San Antonio

At the Bank of Bartlett, the phones are ringing off the hook. People calling in, hoping to follow the Tigers just like Bob Byrd.

"If I have to jog from here to San Antonio. I will be there," Byrd said.

The travel agency inside the bank is swamped. Along with the everyday business of getting travelers to Orlando and Alaska, agents are now organizing a trip to San Antonio for the Final Four.

For 1200-bucks you can buy airfare and ground transportation.

As far as game tickets and hotel rooms. The university is in control of that.

"The people going to San Antonio, we need them to know that they need a certain amount of patience in this situation. All roads to San Antonio with rooms and tickets begin with the university," Byrd said.

Not all roads. Some start with independent agents like Patrick Glass.

Excluding airfare, his final four packages range from $1800 to $2500.

"What that gets you is your four nights and your tickets to the game," Glass said.

With his phone ringing non-stop, Glass said Tiger fans are on the prowl.
