Tigers Dozier/Anderson Test NBA Draft Waters

Wow, next years Tigers might not look anything at all like this years' Final Four squad.

If things work out...not one of the starting 5 will be back.

Joey Dorsey is a Senior...

Derrick Rose, and Chris Douglas Roberts have already declared for the NBA Draft..

Now forward Robert Dozier and guard Antonio Anderson will test the NBA waters.

They won't hire an agent so they could come back for their senior years' if they don't like how things look.

And a big bonus this year...the NCAA is allowing NBA teams to pay for players travel expenses to the pre-draft workouts...making it easier for test their market value since they don't have to repay anything.

Both are expected to return to Memphis for their senior seasons, unless it appears they will be first-round picks. Only first-rounders get guaranteed contracts.

"The main thing to do is work with a few teams, and that's what we'll try to get for them," Calipari said. "I've got a couple things lined up for both of them where they can work out, and if one of those teams says they may use the first-round pick on the kid, I'm all for it. Right now, neither one is on that board. But at least it kind of lets them know that they explored."

A number of college juniors have entered the draft this year, taking advantage of a new rule that allows underclassmen to have all travel expenses paid for by NBA teams who request private workouts while still retaining their amateur status.

In the past, players who declared for the draft had to pay their own expenses, which discouraged many from going through the process.
