Tennessee adds speed, tries to fill holes with 7 picks

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Titans' biggest move in the 2008 NFL Draft came by subtraction, not addition.

By trading away suspended cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones to Dallas, the Titans cut ties with their single biggest problem of the past three years, a distraction that nearly overshadowed their rebuilding process back to a playoff contender.

The Titans used seven draft picks to give Vince Young more help on an offense that runs the ball well but struggles in the air. The team also filled holes at defensive end.

Top pick is running back Chris Johnson of East Carolina, the fastest player at the combine.       They did draft a receiver in California's Lavelle Hawkins but not until the fourth round.
