Chick-Fil-A agrees to meet with Memphis Heritage

The fast food chain at the center of a fight in midtown Memphis is ready to negotiate.

Chick-Fil-A wants to build a restaurant along Union Avenue.

To do so, the fast food company applied for a permit to demolish the Cumberland Presbyterian Church building.

Members of the Memphis Heritage corporation are against the demolition.

Friday, Action News 5 learned a Chick-Fil-A executive has agreed to meet with the group, local architects, and designers to look at the possible use of the church building.
