Police continue search for Elizabeth Ferguson

Neighbors last saw 86 year old Elizabeth Ferguson on Monday when she drove off in her green 1993 Mercury Sable.

"The police department has  some reported sightings of her and we feel encouraged but still she is not home yet," daughter Cheryl Ferguson said.

Elizabeth Ferguson  had a doctors appointment on Sanderlin. About 4 miles from her home. Her daughter said her mother, who has high blood pressure and suffers from dementia, never made it.

Cheryl Ferguson, who lives in Washington state, said her mother never left her home for more than an hour or two.

She said she might be in a deteriorated state because she has been without her medication.

"At this point I am sure she is so frightened and so confused and so weak that she doesn't know what to do. Or she may go into a store and wander around and strike up a conversation. Who knows, who knows," Ferguson said.

Elizabeth Ferguson drives a 1993 Green Mercury Sable. It is the car she was driving when she disappeared. She is 5"6 and weighs 105 pounds.
