After a hurricane, it is important to watch for dangers that might not be immediately apparent as you return to your home.
When cleaning your yard, be wary of downed power lines. As power is restored, downed power lines could spring to life without warning, snapping like a fully charged, loose water hose and posing an immediate deadly hazard. If you see downed lines in your community, report them right away.
