City Watch Alert issued for abducted woman

Memphis police have issued a City Watch Alert for a missing woman they say was abducted.  Officials said Paris Shead, 19, has been missing since early Friday morning.

According to a witness, Shead's boyfriend punched her in the face and forced her into the back seat of a green 1999 Buick Century.  The couple was driven by a third person to the intersection of McLemore and Lauderdale, where Shead and her boyfriend got out of the vehicle.

Shead's alleged abductor was identified by police as Lavell Mangram, 23.  Police describe him as 5'11", 165lbs, with a dark complexion.  He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts.

Shead is 5'6", 190lbs with a medium complexion.  She was last seen wearing an orange and yellow shirt, and blue jeans.

Shead was abducted in the 3000 block of Moriah Trials in the Mount Moriah Apartments.
