Neely's restaurant reopens while police investigate shooting

Neely's Bar-B-Que on Mt. Moriah has reopened for business after shutting down following a Friday night shooting at the popular restaurant. Memphis police continue to investigate the incident.

A Neely's employee was shot at the restaurant Friday night and transported to the Med in critical condition.

The Neely family has released the following statement regarding the shooting: "We are deeply saddened by the events of Friday night. Our hopes and prayers are with our employee and his family for a speedy recovery. We have been advised that it is inappropriate for us to comment further due to the ongoing investigation by the Memphis Police Department."
