Research shows most of the damage from the sun that causes skin cancer happens before the age of 18. Skin cancer doesn't usually appear until later in life.

Dermatologists say the earlier you catch skin cancer the better your chances are of surviving this deadly disease.

Here's what you need to watch out for: -Basal Cell Carcinoma-a pearly looking bump -Squamous Cell Carcinoma-a red scaly patch that doesn't heal -Malignant Melanoma-reddish or dark growth
