The Stanford St. Jude Pro Am gives celebs a chance to hang with the pros and get tips on their game.

For the pros it's one last round before the tournament starts.

A gorgeous day on the course especially if you like heat and wind.

Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt taking a few swings today before football season gets underway.

Also NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya proving his talents extend beyond the racetrack.

As for the pros, guys like John Daly always a fan favorite here, even if he can't get off the phone long enough to finish his round.

V-J Singh is playing in his second tournament here in Memphis, while Memphis native Sean Mcheel is hoping for a good round before a season ending shoulder surgery.

"Even with the Pro-Am, you've got the Pro-Am pins...I didn't make a Birdie today. Now, i mean, i was trying, but i wasn't reading my putts for directions. But, i think that just shows how difficult it is to get close to the pins.">

First round action begins 7 A-M sharp Thursday at the TPC at Southwind.

The winner will collect about $1.8 Million Dollars on Sunday.
