YOUR TURN: David McNatt looks for E85

This week's "Your Turn" segment goes to David McNatt. With the high gas prices that we're all now facing, McNatt wants to know why it's so difficult to buy alternative fuels in the Memphis area.

McNatt is specifically interested in the fuel called E85, a blend of ethanol and gasoline.

In McNatt's words:

"The automakers a year ago were promoting flex fuels with their vehicles. I live in Memphis and the closest place to purchase E85 is in Wynne, Arkansas. My last purchase of E85, it was 85 cents a gallon cheaper than regular gas.  The Nashville area has several locations where you can buy the fuel. If President Bush has mandated the production of this fuel, why doesn't Shelby County have at least one outlet to purchase E85?  Are the oil companies not putting E85 pumps in our area on purpose?"

That's David McNatt's turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com or call 800-465-1210.
