In a reveral of fortune, University of Memphis Senior Joey Dorsey goes in the NBA Draft before Tiger First Team All-American Chris Douglas Roberts.
Dorsey, a perrenial Conference USA First Teamer, goes to the Portland TrailBlazers with the 3rd pick of the second round, 33rd overall.
He'll team with Last Years' top pick Greg Oden, and former Rookie of the Year Brandon Roy.
CDR, a First Team All-American, falls all the way to the 10th pick in the second round, 40th overall, to the New Jersey Nets.
The Nets had room for a swing player on their roster after trading Richard Jefferson to the Bucks for 7-foot Yi Jianlian.
Roberts was thought to be a lock between 15-and-25 of the First Round, but his stock dropped as the Pre-Draft Workouts went on.
CDR worked out for the Grizzlies the day before the draft...but the Grizz passed on him for Donte Green, a 6'6" 220 pound swing player from Syracuse.
