There hasn't been this much Hoopla at Chicago's United Center since Michael Jordan ran the court...
That's all changed now that former Memphis Tiger Derrick Rose is the NBA's Number One pick to the Bulls.
Rose is introduced to the Chicagoland Media Monday..
Bulls General Manager John Paxson hands Rose the Jersey, signifying his worth to the team, as well as his New Number and Draft position.
It's the Number One.
Paxson says the Bulls won't put the weight of the world on their new point guard..but IS expecting a lot out of the player who helped lead the Tigers to an NCAA record 38 wins and a trip to the National Championship game..
Rose says, he's just glad to be coming "home".
A homeboy from the South Side of Chicago, Rose already made a big hit for Windy City Fans Friday night, donning a White Sox Uniform and throwing out the First Ball...a strike..in a game against the Chicago Cubs..
Rose will make about $10-Million Dollars in his first two years with the Bulls.
