Legendary former Memphis University School football coach Jake Rudolph died this weekend. Rudolph, who also served as the Owls Athletic Director, retired from M.U.S. In 19-97 after 39-years at the school.
During his tenure, M.U.S won 295 games, which is the 5th most in Tennessee and second highest in Shelby County.
Rudolph led the Owls to 16-playoff berths, 10-District Titles, 6-Regional Crowns, 2-State Runnerup Finishes and One State Championship.
Jake Rudolph was 78 years old.
