Former Tiger Carney Traded to Twolves

The Associated Press is reporting former Memphis Tiger Rodney Carney is packing his bags for Minnesota.

The 76ers have agreed to trade Carney, the 16th pick in the 2005 Draft, Forward Calvin Booth, and a future first round pick to the Timberwolves so Philly can free up some money to sign free agent Elton Brand.

Brand has agreed to make the move to Philadelphia for 5-years and $82-Million Dollars.

Carney averaged 6 points and 2 rebounds in his second NBA season.

He'll join former Grizzly Mike Miller, now in chilly Minnesota.
