The Grizzlies Summer League team continues to toil away on the Final Day of 2-a-Day practices Tuesday at FedExForum.
While much of the attention is focused on the Grizz Top 2-draft picks, combo guard O.J. Mayo and forward Darrell Arthur..the Man having the best camp, 2nd year point guard Mike Conley.
The former Ohio State star has added 7-pounds to his frame, and, he hopes..a bit more toughness to his game.
Conley says the extra weight hasn't slowed his quickness.
He's exploding into the lane during scrimmages...plus his outside shot is finding the mark, thanks to some off-season work with Grizzlies shooting coach Mark Price, a former NBA star who was one of the best pure shooters in the game.
The Grizzlies leave for Las Vegas Thursday morning..
Their First Summer League Game is Friday night vs the New Orleans Hornets.
