New studio offers pole dancing for the average woman

If you thought dancing on a pole was reserved for adult nightclubs , think again.  A new studio in Bartlett is hoping to turn those sexy moves in the latest exercise craze and hopefully big bucks.

At Eccentric Studios in Bartlett, prepare to get familiar with a pole.

Rachael Vint and Kyra Bailey have partnered to open their own business which specializes in Strip to Fit Classes. Stripper routines on a pole for the average woman.

Instructors said the classes help students build muscle, gain confidence, and lose pounds.

"All in all, its really just a lot of fun and women leave feeling good about themselves and that ultimate goal," Vint said.

"I began this class as an unlimited student and I lost 40 pounds within the first 6 to 8 months of taking this class," Bailey said.

Vint and her partner were teaching a class at local fitness clubs in the area and the response was so overwhelming it warranted enough business to open up their own studio .

Vint said most of her clients are not interested in pole dancing professionally.  She said they prefer to perform those sexy moves in private rather than in public.
