Mid-Southerners say goodbye to Brian Teigland

Mid-Southerners said their last goodbyes to WPTY Chief Meteorologist Brian Teigland Saturday morning. Teigland died suddenly last week.

Teigland's family, friends and fans gathered for a memorial service at Bellevue Baptist Church to pay their respects.

"I was profoundly sad last Friday. I cried," said WMC Meterologist Dave Brown. "I had a very difficult time preparing and delivering a tribute to Brian on our newscast, and the reason is because I just know that some things are never going to be the same again without my friend to share the humor in them with me."

Brian Teigland is survived by his wife Cindy, two daughters, and a son.
