Titans QB Troubled by More than Injury

It's more than a Knee Injury that's got Titans Fans in a Tizzy over the future of Quarterback Vince Young.

After injuring his knee late in the Titans win over Jacksonville Sunday, Youngs' mental state is now being called into question...by his Mother of all people.

Felicia Young tells the Nashville Tennesseean Newspaper her son is tired of all the negativity he's faced after being Booed during Sunday's win over Jacksonville.

She says Young indicated he doesn't want to play Football.

This isn't the first time Young has talked of wanting to quit the sport.

He told a Reporter last Spring he thought of retiring after his Rookie Season...

A statement he later said was taken out of context.

Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher says:

"Vince needs to work not to wear his emotions on his sleeve."

The #3 pick in the 2006 draft, Young won the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

He followed up helping the Titans reach the Playoffs last season..

He's been criticized for his passing struggles, with nine touchdowns and 17

interceptions in 2007.
