High Tops Party Draws Tiger Hoop Fans and Players

They call it, The High Tops Party...

It's a chance for the Bluest of the Blue Memphis Tigers Basketball Fans to meet the Players..

But, that's not all..

The Party, at U of M Head Coach, John Calipari's House, is put on by the Rebounders Booster Club as a Ticket Seller for games at FedExForum.

Last years' event helped Sellout many Tigers Games...

This year..several of the players stopped by for some food, and to meet and greet the faithful.

Freshman Guard Tyreke Evans may have most of the pressure to produce.

The MVP of the McDonald's All-American game averaged more than 32-points and 9-rebounds a game as a High School Senior..

But, can he get Memphis back to the Final Four..like predecessor Derrick Rose did last year?

Evans says:

"I'm just ready to get out here with my teammates and see what we can do. We definitely want to get back to the championship."

Tigers Returninee Doneal Mack says:

"Tyreke is his own man.. He has his own game.. It's not right to try and compare the two.

This guy can play.. We're ready to go!"

Everybody will get their first look at the Tigers during Memphis Madness October 17th at FedExForum.
