Mid-South Stars Shine Over NFL Weekend

What a great weekend for some former Mid-South stars in the NFL...

The Best performance from former Ole Miss Linebacker Patrick Willis of the San Francisco 49ers...

Willis, the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year last season, picks off the pass from the Seahawks Matt Hasselbeck, and is off to the races 86-yards for, not only his first career interception, but a Touchdown as well..

That play ties the game at 20-to-20..

Willis also had 8 tackles in the game....

Also in that game, former Memphis Tigers star Isaac Bruce shows there's still plenty of catches left in those All-Pro Hands..

Bruce, thought just to be closing out his illustrious 15-year career at San Francisco after spending 14-years in St Louis where he helped lead the Rams to a Super Bowl title in 19-99.

Bruce teams with Niners QB J.T. O'Sullivan with 4 catches for 153 yards...his most since 2004.

His last catch..a 33 yard reception leads to the winning field goal in Overtime.

Bruce has amassed over 14-thousand receiving yards in his career.

And former Horn Lake High Star Brandon Jackson finds Paydirt for the Green Bay Packers.

Jackson, who played Collegiately at Nebraska, does his part to help the Pack blowout Detroit with this 39 yard Touchdown Run..

Packers win it 48-to-25.
