The Memphis Business Journal Reports the St. Louis Cardinals and the Memphis Redbirds Baseball Foundation along with Blues City Baseball officially announce the singing of a non-binding letter of intent to start the ball rolling on the Cardinals buying their Triple-A- Franchise.
The Journal Reports Redbirds Manager Dave Chase as saying the Trend in Baseball now is for Major League Club to purchase their Minor League affiliates.
The deal could take months to consummate.
