Former Tiger Returns to Memphis as Assistant for Nicholls State

The weekend the Memphis Tigers welcome back one of their own when they face Nicholls State at the Liberty Bowl.

He'll be on the field...but, he WON'T be on the Tigers Sideline.

No, Josh Eargle will be pulling for the Colonels...

Actually, he'll be doing more than that...he'll be Coaching them.

Eargle is now the Offensive Line Coach at Nicholls State.

A former Tigers Offensive Lineman from 19-99 to 2001, Eargle got into Pharmaceutical Sales after graduation...but, after 2 years, returned to his first love..Football, getting Assistant Coaching Jobs at Ouchita Baptist and Southern Mississippi..

Now in his second year in Thibodeaux, Louisiana, Eargle says he still pulls for the Blue and Gray, but makes his money at Nicholls State.

Nicholls State will be playing their first game of the Season, while the Tigers are looking for their first victory.

Game Time 7pm Saturday at the Liberty Bowl.
