WEST MEMPHIS, AR (WMC-TV) - Police in West Memphis are searching for a man they believe is responsible for shooting three teenagers outside a birthday party.
In what police called a violent overreaction, Aramus Demont Parker, 22, allegedly pulled a shotgun on the teens after a birthday party two weeks ago, shooting them all. No one was killed in the shooting, but a 16-year-old was still hospitalized Thursday as he recovered from his injuries.
Parker faces two charges of aggravated assault, and one county of battery. Officials said during a birthday party on September 19th, Parker and the teens got into an argument. Parker left, returning a short time later, when police allege the shooting happened.
Police believe Parker may be hiding somewhere in Memphis. If you have information that could aid investigators, call Crittenden County Crime Stoppers at 870-732-4444 or the Memphis Police Department at 901-528-CASH.
