Rush scores 17 to lead Pacers past Grizzlies

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Rookie Brandon Rush scored 17 points and Stephen Graham added 16, leading the Indiana Pacers to a 112-86 preseason victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night.

Rookie Roy Hibbert finished with 12 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks, Danny Granger had 12 points and T.J. Ford scored 11 for the Pacers, who improved to 3-2 in the preseason.

Indiana guard Mike Dunleavy made his preseason debut, scoring nine points in 12 minutes. He missed the team's first four games and most of training camp with a sore right knee.

Rudy Gay had 19 points, rookie O.J. Mayo scored 17 and Hakim Warrick chipped in 10 for the Grizzlies, who dropped to 2-4 in the preseason.

Indiana jumped out to an early 22-11 lead on Rasho Nesterovic's basket, but Memphis shot 58 percent from the field in the first quarter and closed the gap to 27-26 on Gay's jumper.

The Pacers, who briefly trailed 31-29, built their lead back up to 11 points after Ford's jumper late in the first half. Graham had eight points in the second quarter.

Indiana used an 11-0 run in the third to open a 68-49 advantage and Hibbert's basket later in the quarter gave the Pacers a commanding 78-54 lead.

It was the second meeting between Indiana and Memphis in four days. The Grizzlies beat the Pacers 103-95 in Memphis on Monday.

Notes: Pacers G Travis Diener (sore left foot) and F Troy Murphy (sore left Achilles') did not play...Rush and Grizzlies F Darrell Arthur were back on the court together after playing together in college at Kansas last season, leading the Jayhawks to NCAA championship. ... Memphis G Mike Conley returned to his hometown of Indianapolis, where he starred at nearby Lawrence North High School.
