MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - The Memphis Tigers have a different feel as the team starts it's early-season practices.
Last year, Memphis was a veteran team trying to incorporate two rookies into its rotation. The Tigers who took to the floor for the first official practice on Saturday are a very different group.
Coach John Calipari has added six new players, four of whom are expected to contribute right away.
Now, Calipari must mold the team into a cohesive unit by the time the season opens Nov. 15 against Fairfield.
Senior forward Robert Dozier said players need to be patient because the new players are coming along, even if it is a slow process.
