Key Alabama defender likely out for Tennessee game

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama starting nose guard Terrence Cody will probably miss this week's game at Tennessee and next week's game with Arkansas State.

Coach Nick Saban says Cody suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee in the second-ranked Crimson Tide's win over Ole Miss.

Cody, who is 6-5 and weighs 365 pounds, anchors the Alabama defensive line. He's a junior college transfer nicknamed "Mount Cody."
