MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Memphis police are investigating a fatal Thursday afternoon shooting that involved multiple crimes scenes.
According to police, the victim, a man in his early 20's, was in his home in the 5800 block of Plum Valley when at least two suspects entered. Officials said the two sides exchanged gunfire, and the victim was later found dead in his driveway. At least one of the suspects was also shot.
The suspects left the home in a truck, which they abandoned in the 5900 block of Rosewind. Soon after, officials said, they once again left, this time in a Dodge Intrepid.
A short time later, the driver of the Intrepid dropped off the injured shooting suspect at a Burger King near Getwell and Shelby Drive.
Police are still searching for the driver of the Intrepid, as well as a third man they believe was involved in the shooting.
