Body found inside missing woman's vehicle

BARTLETT, TN (WMC-TV) - A body was found Monday in the back seat of an SUV owned by a woman reported missing in Memphis.

Officials believe the vehicle, a black 2005 Chevy Avalanche, belongs to Tina Caronna, who was last seen in the 800 block of Eatonwick Fairway in Cordova on Saturday.

"I noticed it this past Saturday evening around 6pm," neighbor James Coleman said.

Memphis Police put out a City Watch Alert for Coronna Sunday evening. And by 8:00am Monday, just inside Bartlett city limits, police found her car with a body inside.

"It was perfectly parked - no crime scene evidence around the vehicle whatsoever," neighbor Lt. Rory Mack said.

Police said only that the body was a white female. They have yet to identify her, and do not yet know how she died.

Investigators are processing her car inside Bartlett's impound lot, searching for clues.
