Woman's death ruled a homicide

BARTLETT, TN (WMC-TV) - The death of Tina Caronna, the Cordova woman whose body was in her SUV early Monday morning in Bartlett, has been ruled a homicide, Bartlett Director of Community Relations Debbie Morrison said Wednesday.

Morrison said Caronna's exact cause of death would not be released in order to not hamper a police investigation into the murder.

Caronna was last seen in her 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche on Saturday. That vehicle was found Monday morning on the side of Brannick, a dead end road near Summer Avenue in Bartlett.  Caronna's body was inside.

Bartlett police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact CrimeStoppers at 901-385-5550.
