Letter offers insight into Cordova principal's arrest

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - A letter is giving insight into why Cordova High School's principal was arrested last week.

Tony Frigo is accused of making an indecent proposal to the mother of a prospective student, and then assaulting her.

Monday, Action News 5 obtained a copy of a letter she sent to school officials explaining what Frigo allegedly did and said to her.

One line reads, "When I look at you--you illuminate me."

It gets much more explicit from there.  Click here to read the entire letter.

Tony Frigo is off the job, after Memphis City Schools put him on administrative leave with pay while they investigate the letter, as well as other allegations against him.
