MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - The internet is changing the world. You can buy and sell just about anything on-line, especially on Craigslist. But, what one local group of women was selling on the website recently landed them all in jail.

Thursday, Memphis police said Sirita Tolbert, Angel Jackson, and Jessica Cavazos have been charged with prostitution, accused of selling sex on-line at Craigslist.com.

According to the affidavit of complaint, investigators set up a romantic rendezvous by answering an add for a "College Cuti."

Detectives told the women to meet them at the Memphis Inn, where hotel owners said prostitution is not a welcome guest.

"I'm the security guard here and as soon as I see activity I call the cops and get rid of them and everything," William Carnes of the Memphis Inn said.

But this time, police set the spot on purpose. The Memphis Inn was just close enough that the women are charged with selling sex near a school. If they are convicted, they face mandatory jail time.

When Tolbert, Jackson, and Cavazos showed up at the room. Undercover officers struck a deal,  $300 for the three women.

A takedown team barged in and arrested all three, caught not so much streetwalking, but rather walking the world-wide web.
