Christian Brothers High School senior Andrew Patrick (Drew) Barham signed a letter of intent today to play basketball at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. Co-captain and a three-year starter, Drew is the only returning starter from last year's 27-6 state runner-up and region championship team. He was an Honorable Mention All-Conference team selection and also MVP of Young Life game last year as a junior. Drew is one of 21 players from the state of Tennessee nominated for the McDonald's All-American game. One of the top shooters in the state, he has been selected as a Pre-Season All-Conference player. One of the top students in the class of 2009, Drew was recently inducted into the National Honor Society. Other student activities include being a member of the Honor Council and a Student Ambassador. Drew is the son of Patrick and Debra Barham of Cordova. He has two sisters, Katie and Amy.
