Rebel Football Back in Top 25

Now to the Ole Miss Rebel Football team, and boy, are they riding high down in Oxford this week..

For a whole lot of reasons.

1. The Rebels are ranked 25th in the Nation this week in the A.P. Poll after knocking off former number 18 LSU at Baton Rouge Saturday..

2. The Rebels are racking up individual honors..

Center Daverin Geralds is the S.E.C.'s Offensive Lineman of the week, helping the Rebels gain a whopping 409 yards in the 31-13 victory...and Peria Jerry is the Leagues' Defensive Lineman of the week, with 2-1/2 tackles behind the line, plus a sack..

And 3.. former Briarcrest High star Michael Oher named a finalist for the Outland Trophy, signifying the Nations' top Collegiate Lineman...

Ole Miss Head Coach Houston Nutt says, what more can you ask?

"I just want our players to realize what got us here. They need to be unselfish. Keep their focus on the Team. They've got to keep making it happen for 60-minutes."

The Rebels close out the Regular season with the Egg Bowl Friday in Oxford.

Kickoff is 11:30am.
