Memphis High Schools Go 1 for 2 in State Football Championship Games Tuesday

Memphis High Schools go One for Two in Tennessee State Football Championship action tonight in Murfreesboro..

The M.U.S. Owls write the end to a perfect script by winning the Division Two Large School title for the 4th time since 19-85.

The Owls jump on perrenial power Brentwood Academy and never let up in the first half.

M.U.S. Quarterback Barry Brunetti throws for 207 yards and 4-Touchdowns, tying a championship game record. He also rushed for 70-yards.

Owls led 31-Zip at the Half..go on to win the Championship 

Final 38-to-18.

M.U.S. Finishes the season a perfect 13-0.

In the D-2 Small School title game earlier, Memphis Harding Academy gets 338 yards of total offense and 4-touchdowns, including this 23 yarder from Prep All-American Marlon Brown...but it's not enough to keep Nashville Davidson Academy from winning its' 3rd State Championship in the last 4-years.

This one goes to the wire.. 36-34 the final.
