Sen. Wicker says he'll support Clinton, Richardson

TUPELO, Miss. (AP) - Mississippi Republican Sen. Roger Wicker says that although he will probably won't agree with all of Barack Obama's decisions, he will vote for at least two of the president-elect's Cabinet picks.

Speaking in Tupelo on Friday, Wicker said U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton is a "good choice" for secretary of state.

Wicker also said he supports the nomination of New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson for secretary of commerce.

Wicker, who voted against the $700 million financial bailout package, said he was "open-minded but highly skeptical" about using federal money to bail out the Big Three automakers.       ---
