MILLINGTON, TN (WMC-TV) - A Millington man missing since late November was found safe in Memphis late Friday night, but now he's behind bars.

Following news reports of his disappearance, Ronald Oliver was found at a homeless shelter in Memphis. He told investigators he was not aware that a missing person's report had been issued for him.

"I'm really glad they found him," said neighbor Tracy Robinson. "I didn't know they had anybody missing. I'm really glad they found him and he's ok."

Investigators became concerned about Oliver's safety after surveillance video was released showing a couple using his debit card at a Frayser Kroger store, and $600 was withdrawn from his checking account.

Oliver told investigators he was unaware that anyone had used his debit card or accessed his checking account.

Deputies took him to the Shelby County Jail after his brother claimed that Oliver had borrowed his car and never returned it. Investigators believe he sold the car without his brother's permission and kept the money.

Oliver has been charged with theft of property.

Investigators are still searching for the couple seen using his debit card in the surveillance video.
