Huey's employees bring Christmas to children of Hope House

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC-TV) - A popular Mid-South restaurant took time from serving good food this week serve up good will.

In the spirit of late restaurant founder and philanthropist Thomas Boggs, employees from all seven Huey's Restaurant locations collected and donated toys to the children and families of Hope House, a Memphis non-profit that provides daycare services to families impacted by HIV and AIDS.

"The employees of Huey's actually donate toys to our families every year to provide to all the families," said Kevin Dean of Hope House. "And even the children that aren't in our care, we make sure they're taken care of too."

Hope House organizers say the families of Hope House live in such poverty that without donations, they wouldn't have anything for their children or themselves at Christmas.
