Casey Anthony's parents to help investigators

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - An attorney who represents the parents of a Florida woman charged with killing her child says his clients will cooperate with investigators.

DNA tests have confirmed that skeletal remains found in a wooded area of central Florida last week are those of 3-year old Caylee Anthony, who had been missing since June. But authorities say they don't know how or when she died.

Brad Conway, who represents George and Cindy Anthony, says "They know now their precious granddaughter is safe and can serve as a guardian angel to protect missing children and their families."

If convicted of first-degree murder, 22-year-old Casey Anthony faces an automatic life sentence as prosecutors have announced they will not seek the death penalty. Her trial is scheduled for March.
