RiverKings Blast Thunder at D.C.C.

The Mississippi RiverKings are slapping a mean puck these days..

The 'Kings are currently third in the Central Hockey Leagues' Northeast Division with a 15-and-10 mark..but they LOST their last game on the road at Wichita...

The Thunder comes to the DeSoto Civic Center for the Rematch  Tuesday night down in Southaven..

Kings looking for the Payback on Home Ice..

They trust their keeper to keep the puck out of the Net..

Wichita on the attack...but Tyler Sims is equal to the task early on...

He wraps up the shot as Mississippi thwarts several early power plays

But Sims can't keep them all from lighting the Lamp...especially when it's his own teammate...

Thunder hammers a shot..

Wichita's Chris Tarker gets credit for the goal...

But, Our Replay shows, he puck actually glances off the skate of 'Kings Defensemen.

Kings not worried..they go right back on the attack..

Matt Pierce gets it into the middle.. And Louis Dumont puts it away for his 11th goal of the season.. This one No Contest..

Final Score..RiverKings win Big 8-to-3 

The 'Kings next game is Friday night at home vs Oklahoma City at the D.C.C.
