Arkansas State Pays Up to NCAA

Arkansas State is paying the NCAA more than $43-thousand Dollars in self imposed fines for Rules Violations.

There was a problem with certifying credits for student athletes who transferred to the Jonesboro school.

ASU has sent a letter to the NCAA apologizing for the error, and says its' taken steps to prevent future problems.

The Jonesboro Sun reported ASU had given some 21 unnamed student athletes credits for too many elective classes.

All but one received a waiver to continue playing...

The one who didn't was held out of 15-games.
