UM chancellor committee to be on campus

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - A state College Board committee looking for a new chancellor at the University of Mississippi will hold meetings on the Oxford campus on Feb. 17.

Ole Miss Chancellor Robert Khayat, who has led the university for nearly 14 years, announced last month that he will retire at the end of June.

The College Board search committee will hold meetings at the Inn at Ole Miss beginning at 7:45 a.m. on Feb. 17.

The committee is headed by board president Amy Whitten.
