Grizzlies Deal Lowry to Rockets for First Round Pick

Thursday's NBA Trade deadline sees the Memphis Grizzlies make one move..

It's part of a 3-team deal with the Houston Rockets and the Orlando Magic.

The Grizz ship backup point guard Kyle Lowry to the Rockets for Orlando's First Round Draft Pick.

Houston gets Magic Forward Brian Cook, while the Rockets send point guard Rafer Alston to Orlando.

Lowry, a late first round pick in 2006, had lost his starting job to Mike Conley.

He averaged about  8 points and 4 assists a game this season.

The Grizz also pick up L.A. Lakers 7-footer Chris Mihm and some cash.

Memphis gives up a conditional second round pick to the Lakers in 2013.
