All-Memphis Final Set for TN Div-2 Boys and Girls State Basketball Championships

In the first Boys Small School Semi, it pits the Harding Lions of Memphis against  University School of Nashville.

Football star Marlon Brown also doing his thing on the hardwood...taking the inbound lob and putting it up for the easy hoop...

Harding advances to Saturday's State Championship game, beating USN

Final Score 59-52.

In a Girls D-2 Small school Semi, the Bishop Byrne Lady Red Knights are making the most of their second straight State Tournament appearance..taking on Nashville's Davidson Academy.

Bishop Byrne hangs on to advances to Saturday's 6pm State Final

Beating Davidson Academy Final Score 40-to-38.

In the other Girls semi, Lausanne has been Number One in the State for most of the season..

Miss Basketball Finalist Lauren Avant leads the Lady Lynx against the Lady Lions of Harding in another All-Memphis Semi..

Allie Logan with the bucket for the Lions...

Then Logan again, this time driving the lane for the layup...

Lausanne advances to the State Final, beating Harding

Final Score, 71-59

And in a Boys Semifinal, the St. George's Gryphons, featuring former Memphis Tigers Star Bobby Parks son Bobby Ray Parks, Jr. Getting after the Lausanne Lynx.

Ray Parks with the layup...34 points for Parks, including 20 of 23 from the foul line.

Then, Lausanne's  Will Martinez with the pull up jumper...he had 41 points for the Lynx..

But Allen Bobango was bombing away the 3's...

Final Score...St. Georges wins, 73-68

So, it'll be St. George's vs Harding for the Boys Small School D-2 Championship Friday at 8pm

Lausanne takes on Bishop Byrne for the Girls Small School Crown in D-2 Friday at 6pm.
