WEST MEMPHIS, AR (WMC-TV) - Dozens of agents swarmed to the corner of Cooper and Avalon in West Memphis, when Dr. Trent Pierce was seriously hurt after a bomb exploded near his car in his driveway.

Tuesday, West Memphis Police Department Chief Bob Paudert said Pierce is recovering slowly but surely, that he's making improvements every single day.

Paudert added the ATF has not left town since the explosion.  But, he also says fresh agents arrived in West Memphis early Monday to continue the investigation.

Despite the exhaustive manpower, the long hours, and the countless number of leads, the case does remain open, though investigators have learned little about who planted the bomb.

West Memphis police and ATF officials will hold a news conference Wednesday to update investigation and release information about additional reward money in the case.

You can watch that press conference live on WMCTV.com beginning at approximately 2:00pm.
